The hall has undergone an extensive refurbishment and repair program within the last few years. Like all old buildings the hall requires an almost continual maintenance schedule to keep it energy-efficient and user-friendly. The task increases exponentially when the place is open to the public and various bits of legislation apply. The day-to-day work is capably managed by our caretaker but contractors are regularly employed to manage the more substantial tasks, such as electrical, building and plumbing work. The hall facilities are comprehensive:- Accommodating parties of up to 100, with adequate tables and two seating grades. Audio facilities. Audio/visual facilities with large-screen projection equipment (chargable) Small to medium-sized conference capability (up to 100) with comfortable seating and DVD and Lap-Top presentation ability. Additional, separate, smaller meeting room. Kitchen facilities (recently (2010) refitted to a high standard) Comprehensive heating for the winter months, by pre-paid token only Licensed by Peterborough City Council for both live and recorded music up to 00.59am and the showing of films to a non-paying audience Ample safe on-site car parking Pleasant, quiet village location within easy access of Peterborough, Spalding, Stamford and Market Deeping.
